In 2004, Wellington Golf Oostende set up a golf course on the site where the race track used to be. Wellington Golf has a 9 hole championship course (Par 70), designed by golf architect Baron Paul Rolin. The many ponds and characteristic sea wind make this location a true challenge for golfers of any level. The practice facilities of Wellington Golf are also impressive: a driving range with 25 covered tee off places, an ample putting green and a chipping green with practice bunkers. As a guest of Thermae Palace you can rent golf equipment under attractive conditions.

The golf pavilion with ´The Pigeon´
At the golf course there is a golf pavilion in ‘the Pigeon Shooting Range’. The beautiful building, which has been renovated in Tudor style, dates from 1899. The golfclub is also open to non-golfers. The panoramic view of the golf and race course, Thermae Palace and the Ostend skyline is unique and unforgettable, a real must see!
